From a young age, Dr. "Kat" Andrade Ortiz had a deep love and admiration for animals. She always knew that she wanted to dedicate her life to their well-being. Dr. Kat earned her Bachelor's degree in Biology with honors. After completing her undergraduate studies, she went on to attend Oregon State University, where she excelled in her coursework and clinical rotations. Dr. Kat is a Fear Free Certified Professional, dedicated to alleviating your pets’ fear, stress, and anxiety. She earned a Cat Friendly Veterinarian certificate and is a member of the Latinx Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Kat is passionate about educating pet owners on how to provide the best possible care for their beloved animals. She believes that a strong bond between pet owners and their furry friends is essential for maintaining their health and happiness. In her free time, Dr. Kat enjoys hiking, cooking, and baking. She is an avid animal lover and shares her home with four Tuxedo cats. A lifelong learner, Dr. Kat is committed to staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and providing the highest quality care to her patients.
